In late 2013 I was part of the Topolski Studio residency, creating a hand printed reportage newspaper: https://www.topolskicentury.org.uk/residency/chronicle-residency-programme/
Along with three other artists, I am a Fellow of the Topolski Residency Programme, sending work in for future editions of the Chronicle, and helping to train the next generation of artist correspondents.
My main practice is reportage. I usually take on assignments that involve drawing from life. Like Topolski, I see my role as an artist as bearing witness to events in our time.
I have also documented the Crossrail project through drawings made on various sites in London, travelled to Edinburgh to report on the Scottish referendum, and documented the 2015 general election campaign, with emphasis on the Green Party. I am currently making work about the protests against President Park Geun-hye in South Korea.
I have been nominated for a Reportager Award, promoting excellence in documentary drawing, and have been a guest lecturer at Norwich University of the Arts and guest tutor at Camberwell College of the Arts.
My clients include The Journal of the London Society, Hallmark Cards, and Norwich Universty of the Arts.
